MANDATE

1) Serve as the Sangguniang Bayan's presiding official and sign all warrants issued to the Municipal Treasury for all expenses authorized for the organization's operations:

2) In the event of a permanent vacancy as specified in Section 44, Book 1 of the Local Government Code of 1991, take up the role of Municipal Mayor for the remainder of the latter's tenure.

3) In the event of a temporary vacancy, exercise the authority and carry out the responsibilities of the Municipal Mayor as specified in Section 46, Book 1 of the Local Government Code of 1991 and

4) Exercise such other powers and perform such other duties and functions as may be prescribed by law or ordinance.
